Our project studies how Swiss German dialects have evolved over the past decades and is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (Eccellenza), 09/2019 – 08/2024.

The project consists of Adrian Leemann (PI), Péter Jeszenszky (Postdoc), Carina Steiner (PhD student), Melanie Studerus (student assistant), and Jan Messerli (student assistant). We are based at the Center for the Study of Language and Society, University of Bern.
